Moldovița Monastery, located in Vatra Moldoviței, Romania, is a stunning example of medieval Moldavian architecture. Built in 1532 by Petru Rareș, the son of Stephen the Great, this Eastern Orthodox monastery is renowned for its well-preserved exterior frescoes, which vividly depict biblical scenes and historical events. The vibrant colors and detailed artistry of the paintings have earned it a place among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as part of the group of Painted Churches of Northern Moldavia.
