The Monastery of Varlaam, located in Kalabaka, Greece, is one of the six active monasteries perched atop the stunning rock formations of Meteora. Founded in the 14th century by ascetic monks, it is named after its first resident, the monk Varlaam. The monastery is renowned for its breathtaking views, intricate frescoes, and impressive architecture, including the 16th-century Church of All Saints.
