The Monument to the Sun, located in Zadar, Croatia, is an impressive solar-powered public art installation designed by Croatian architect Nikola Bašić. Situated on the city's waterfront, the monument consists of a large circular glass plate embedded in the ground, which collects solar energy during the day. As night falls, this energy is used to create a mesmerizing light show, with colorful LED lights that illuminate the structure in dynamic patterns. The installation is accompanied by the nearby Sea Organ, another of Bašić's creations, which produces music from the movement of the waves, making the area a unique blend of natural and artistic beauty.
