Mother Ukraine, officially known as the Motherland Monument, is a towering statue located in Kyiv, Ukraine. This impressive sculpture stands at 62 meters tall and sits atop the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, making its total height 102 meters. It was unveiled in 1981 as a tribute to the Soviet victory in World War II and has since become a symbol of strength and resilience. The statue depicts a woman holding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, with the shield bearing the emblem of the Soviet Union.
