Mount Kenya National Park in Kenya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the country's most iconic natural landmarks. The park encompasses Africa's second-highest peak, Mount Kenya, which rises to 5,199 meters (17,057 feet) above sea level. It features diverse ecosystems ranging from tropical rainforests at its lower altitudes to alpine moorlands and glaciers at higher elevations. The park is home to an array of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, and various species of antelope, as well as unique flora such as giant lobelias and senecios.
