Moyenne Island, located in the Seychelles archipelago, is a small granitic island in the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, close to the main island of Mahé. Covering an area of approximately 24 acres, the island is known for its lush vegetation and diverse wildlife, including giant tortoises and a variety of bird species. Moyenne Island was purchased by British author and conservationist Brendon Grimshaw in 1962, who dedicated his life to transforming it into a natural haven.
