Mulkirigala Raja Maha Vihara is an ancient Buddhist rock temple situated in the Hambantota District of Sri Lanka. This historical site, also known as Mulkirigala Rock Temple, is renowned for its series of rock-cut caves that house intricately painted murals and statues depicting scenes from Buddhist lore. The temple complex is perched on a massive rock outcrop, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
