Mungyeong Saejae is a historic mountain pass located in Mungyeong, South Korea. It served as a crucial transit route connecting Seoul and the southern regions during the Joseon Dynasty. The pass is renowned for its beautiful natural scenery, including lush forests and clear streams, as well as its well-preserved stone gatehouses. These gatehouses, known as Juheulgwan, Jogokgwan, and Joryeonggwan, provided security and controlled movement through the pass.
