Murinsel, also known as the Mur Island, is an artificial floating platform situated in the River Mur in Graz, Austria. Designed by the American artist Vito Acconci, it was constructed in 2003 to celebrate Graz's designation as the European Capital of Culture. The structure resembles a giant sea shell and features a café, an open-air amphitheater, and a playground.
