The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) in Phoenix, Arizona, is a unique institution dedicated to the celebration and preservation of musical instruments from across the globe. Opened in 2010, MIM houses an extensive collection of over 8,000 instruments from nearly 200 countries and territories. Visitors can explore exhibits organized by geographic regions, which include interactive displays and high-quality videos showcasing the instruments in their cultural contexts. The museum also features the Experience Gallery, where guests can play a variety of instruments, and the MIM Music Theater, which hosts live performances by artists from around the world.
