Established in 1920, the museum houses an extensive collection of Khmer art, including sculptures, ceramics, and ethnographic objects from prehistoric times to the post-Angkorian period. Its magnificent red sandstone building, designed in traditional Khmer style, serves as an important landmark and a center for research and conservation.
