The National Museum in Muscat, Oman, is a cultural institution dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich heritage and history of Oman. Opened in 2016, the museum is located in the heart of the capital city and features over 5,000 artifacts spanning various periods of Omani history, from prehistoric times to the present. The museum is divided into several galleries, including those focused on maritime history, arms and armor, and the Renaissance era.
