The New Cathedral in Brescia, Italy, also known as the Duomo Nuovo, is a stunning example of Baroque architecture. Construction began in 1604 and continued for nearly two centuries, not reaching completion until 1825. The cathedral stands adjacent to the Old Cathedral, or Duomo Vecchio, creating a striking juxtaposition of architectural styles. The New Cathedral features a grand facade adorned with statues and intricate stonework. Inside, visitors are greeted by a spacious nave, impressive altars, and exquisite artwork, including frescoes and sculptures.
