Nicolae Romanescu Park in Craiova, Romania, is one of the largest and most picturesque urban parks in the country. It spans over 230 acres and was designed by the French architect Édouard Redont. The park was inaugurated in 1903 and named after Nicolae Romanescu, the city's then-mayor who commissioned its construction. The park features a variety of attractions, including a scenic lake with a suspension bridge, rolling hills, a small zoo, and numerous walking paths.
