Nossa Senhora da Graça Fort, also known as Forte de Nossa Senhora da Graça or Forte Conde de Lippe, is a prominent star fort located near the town of Elvas in Portugal. Built in the 18th century, this fortification is perched on Monte da Graça and was designed as part of a defensive system to protect the border against Spanish invasions. The fort is renowned for its robust military architecture, featuring a series of bastions, ravelins, and a central redoubt, all designed to withstand artillery attacks. Its strategic position allows for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, and it played a crucial role during the War of the Oranges and the Peninsular War.
