Novosibirsk Zoo in Novosibirsk, Russia, is one of the largest and most renowned zoos in the country. It covers an area of approximately 63 hectares and is home to over 11,000 animals representing more than 700 species. The zoo is particularly noted for its successful breeding programs for endangered species, including the rare Amur tiger and the snow leopard. Established in 1933, Novosibirsk Zoo has grown significantly over the decades and now includes a wide range of exhibits, including specialized sections for birds, reptiles, and marine life.
