The Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus) in Potsdam, Germany, is an iconic Baroque building located on the Alter Markt square. Constructed between 1753 and 1755, the building was designed by renowned architect Jan Bouman. The structure is distinguished by its elegant facade, a towering cupola, and the gilded Atlas figure holding the world atop the dome. Originally serving as the town hall, the building has been repurposed over the years and now houses the Potsdam Museum, which offers exhibitions on local history and art.
