Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant is located on Olkiluoto Island in the municipality of Eurajoki, near the town of Rauma in Finland. The plant is operated by Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) and consists of two operational units with a third unit, Olkiluoto 3 (OL3), under commissioning. OL1 and OL2 are boiling water reactors (BWR), while OL3 is a European Pressurized Reactor (EPR), designed to enhance safety and efficiency. The facility is notable for its role in Finland's strategy to ensure energy security and reduce carbon emissions.
