Ørkenen in Anholt, Denmark, is a unique and expansive desert-like area located on the island of Anholt in the Kattegat Sea. This area is one of the few true deserts in Northern Europe, offering a stark contrast to the lush, green environments typically associated with the region. Ørkenen is a protected nature reserve, home to various specialized plant and animal species adapted to its dry conditions.
