Orléans Cathedral, officially known as Cathédrale Sainte-Croix d'Orléans, is a stunning Gothic cathedral located in the city of Orléans, France. This majestic structure is dedicated to the Holy Cross and is renowned for its intricate architectural details and historical significance. The cathedral's construction began in the 13th century, but it was significantly damaged during the French Wars of Religion in the 16th century. It was subsequently rebuilt in the 17th century under the reign of Henry IV. Notably, Orléans Cathedral is associated with Joan of Arc, who attended a Mass there in 1429 during the Siege of Orléans.
