Paray-le-Monial is a charming town located in the Saône-et-Loire department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of central France. Known for its rich historical and religious heritage, the town is famous for its stunning Romanesque basilica, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, which attracts numerous pilgrims and tourists each year. The basilica is a prime example of Cluniac architecture and features intricate carvings and beautiful stained glass windows.
