The Paria River in Arizona, USA, is a picturesque and remote watercourse that flows through some of the most stunning and rugged landscapes of the American Southwest. Originating in southern Utah, the river winds its way through the colorful, striated rock formations of the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness. Known for its challenging and scenic hiking opportunities, the Paria River corridor features dramatic slot canyons, towering sandstone walls, and a diverse array of plant and animal life. The river eventually joins the Colorado River at Lee's Ferry, a historic crossing point that serves as the starting point for many Grand Canyon rafting trips.
