Opened in 2007, the mosque is unique because it is built on stilts above the sea, giving the illusion that it is floating on water during high tide. The mosque features a blend of Middle Eastern and local design elements, with a striking minaret and a prayer hall that can accommodate up to 1,500 worshippers.
