Périgueux Cathedral, officially known as Cathédrale Saint-Front de Périgueux, is a stunning Roman Catholic cathedral located in Périgueux, France. It is the seat of the Bishop of Périgueux and Sarlat. The cathedral is notable for its distinctive Byzantine-style domes and Greek cross layout, which were heavily influenced by the design of St. Mark's Basilica in Venice. The current structure, which dates back to the 12th century, was significantly restored in the 19th century by the architect Paul Abadie, who later designed the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Paris.
