Pico de São Tomé is the highest mountain in São Tomé and Príncipe, an island nation in the Gulf of Guinea off the western coast of Central Africa. It stands at an elevation of 2,024 meters (6,640 feet) above sea level. The peak is part of the Obo National Park, which is known for its rich biodiversity, lush rainforest, and unique flora and fauna. Hiking to the summit of Pico de São Tomé offers adventurers a challenging trek through dense jungle, with the reward of stunning panoramic views over the island and the surrounding Atlantic Ocean.
