Pigeon Island National Park in Nilaveli, Sri Lanka, is a renowned marine national park known for its stunning coral reefs and diverse marine life. Located just off the coast of Nilaveli, this park consists of two small islands, Large Pigeon Island and Small Pigeon Island, both of which are rich in biodiversity. Visitors can enjoy activities such as snorkeling and diving to explore the vibrant underwater ecosystems, which include colorful coral formations and a variety of fish species. The park also serves as a sanctuary for rock pigeons, from which it derives its name.
