Plaza Francia, also known as Plaza Altamira, is a prominent public square located in the upscale Altamira neighborhood of Caracas, Venezuela. The square, inaugurated in 1945, features a striking 44-meter-high obelisk at its center and is surrounded by an elegant fountain and landscaped gardens. It was originally designed by the French urban planner Maurice Rotival and serves as a hub for cultural events, political gatherings, and social activities.
