Poblenou Cemetery, also known as Cementerio de Poblenou or Cementerio del Este, is a historic cemetery located in the Poblenou neighborhood of Barcelona, Spain. Established in 1775, it is one of the city's oldest cemeteries and a significant example of neoclassical funerary art. The cemetery features an array of elaborate tombs, mausoleums, and sculptures created by notable artists and architects. Among its most famous monuments is the "Kiss of Death" sculpture, which poignantly depicts a skeletal figure kissing a young man.
