Pochaiv Lavra, located in Pochaiv, Ukraine, is one of the most significant Orthodox Christian monasteries in Eastern Europe. Established in the 13th century, it has long been a center of pilgrimage and religious activity. The monastery is renowned for its stunning architectural ensemble, which includes the majestic Dormition Cathedral, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, and several other historic buildings. Pochaiv Lavra is also famous for its miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary and a footprint believed to be that of the Virgin Mary herself.
