Poloniny National Park, located in Nová Sedlica, Slovakia, is a pristine natural reserve known for its rich biodiversity and unspoiled wilderness. Established in 1997, the park covers an area of over 298 square kilometers and is part of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves. It is renowned for its ancient beech forests, some of which are among the last remaining primeval forests in Europe. These forests are home to a variety of wildlife, including brown bears, wolves, and lynxes. The park also boasts picturesque landscapes with rolling hills, deep valleys, and crystal-clear streams, making it a popular destination for hiking, bird-watching, and nature enthusiasts.
