Põltsamaa Castle, located in the town of Põltsamaa, Estonia, is a historic structure originally built in 1272 by the Livonian Order. The castle has a rich history, having served various roles over the centuries, including a fortress, a residence, and even a wine cellar. Despite suffering significant damage during the Great Northern War and World War II, restoration efforts have helped preserve its ruins, making it a notable landmark and tourist attraction today.
