Posets–Maladeta Natural Park is a stunning protected area located in the central Pyrenees of Spain, within the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon. Established in 1994, the park spans approximately 33,267 hectares and is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, which include rugged mountains, deep valleys, glacial lakes, and lush forests. The park's most notable peaks are Aneto, the highest mountain in the Pyrenees at 3,404 meters, and Posets, the second highest at 3,375 meters. The diverse flora and fauna of the park are of significant ecological value, with many endemic species and habitats. Visitors can find a variety of wildlife such as the Pyrenean chamois, marmots, and bearded vultures.
