Pulteney Bridge, located in Bath, United Kingdom, is an iconic 18th-century bridge that spans the River Avon. Designed by the noted architect Robert Adam and completed in 1774, it is one of only a handful of bridges in the world that features shops built across its full span on both sides. The bridge was commissioned by Frances Pulteney to connect Bath with the newly acquired Pulteney estate. Its classical Palladian design and picturesque setting make it a popular subject for photographers and a must-visit landmark in Bath.
