Pyrohiv, also known as Pirogovo, is a picturesque open-air museum located in the southern outskirts of Kyiv, Ukraine. Officially called the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine, it spans over 1.3 square kilometers and offers a captivating glimpse into the country's rural heritage. Established in 1969, the museum showcases traditional Ukrainian village life with over 300 authentic structures, including wooden churches, windmills, farmsteads, and cottages, transported from various regions of Ukraine.
