Qasr al-Hosn is a historic fort located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is the oldest stone building in the city and serves as a symbol of the emirate's heritage and cultural significance. Originally constructed in the late 18th century as a watchtower to guard the only freshwater well on Abu Dhabi Island, it was later expanded into a fort. Over the centuries, Qasr al-Hosn has been used as a residence for the ruling family, a seat of government, and a national archive.
