Constructed in the 18th century by Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh, the fort is built with creamy-colored Chunar sandstone. It houses the Veda Vyasa Temple, the temple of Dakshin Mukhi Hanuman, and a museum that displays a fascinating collection of vintage automobiles, medieval costumes, and a rich array of weaponry.
