Râșnov Fortress, located in the town of Râșnov in Brașov County, Romania, is a historic citadel that dates back to the early 13th century. Built by Teutonic Knights, the fortress served as a defensive stronghold against invading forces, including the Tatars and the Ottomans. Perched on a rocky hilltop, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding Carpathian Mountains and the town below. The fortress is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture, including walls, towers, and a chapel.
