The RMS Rhone was a British Royal Mail Ship that sank off the coast of Salt Island in the British Virgin Islands during a hurricane in October 1867. It is one of the most famous shipwrecks in the Caribbean and a popular site for scuba diving enthusiasts. The wreck lies in relatively shallow waters, making it accessible for divers of varying skill levels. The Rhone is now an underwater national park and is home to a variety of marine life, including vibrant corals, fish, and other sea creatures.
