Rosenbom

Rosenbom is a notable figure in Karlskrona, Sweden, primarily recognized from the wooden statue that stands outside the Admiralty Church (Amiralitetskyrkan). The statue represents a beggar, and it is a part of local lore and tradition. According to the legend, the statue of Rosenbom, with his outstretched hand and a hat that can be lifted to collect donations, has been a symbol of charity for many years. The inscription at the base of the statue encourages visitors to contribute to the poor.
