Rosendal Palace, located on Djurgården Island in Stockholm, Sweden, is a stunning example of early 19th-century neoclassical architecture. Constructed between 1823 and 1827 for King Karl XIV Johan, the palace was designed by architect Fredrik Blom. The purpose of the palace was to serve as a summer retreat for the royal family, providing a serene escape from the bustling city.
