The Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya, located in Kandy, Sri Lanka, is a premier botanical garden renowned for its extensive collection of flora. Spanning approximately 147 acres, it is home to over 4,000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees. Established in 1821, the garden also features a renowned orchid house, a picturesque lake, and a giant Javan fig tree.
