The Royal Swedish Opera, located in Stockholm, Sweden, is the country's premier opera company and a major cultural institution. Established in 1773 by King Gustav III, it has a rich history of presenting world-class opera and ballet. The current opera house, situated on the Gustav Adolfs torg, opened in 1898 and features stunning architecture, both inside and out.
