Saint Gayane Church in Vagharshapat, Armenia, is a notable example of Armenian religious architecture. Built in 630 AD, this church is dedicated to Saint Gayane, a Christian abbess who, according to legend, was martyred for her faith. The structure is distinguished by its domed basilica design, which is typical of early medieval Armenian churches. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site that also includes the nearby Etchmiadzin Cathedral.
