Sakura Castle, located in the city of Sakura in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, is a historic site with a rich cultural heritage. Originally constructed in 1610 by the feudal lord Doi Toshikatsu, the castle served as a strategic defensive stronghold during the Edo period. Although much of the original structure no longer stands, the castle ruins are now part of the Sakura Castle Park, which features beautifully landscaped gardens, moats, and earthen walls. Visitors can also explore the nearby National Museum of Japanese History, which offers further insights into the region's past.
