Sambor Prei Kuk, located in Kampong Thom city, Cambodia, is an ancient archaeological site that dates back to the pre-Angkorian period of the 6th and 7th centuries. It served as the capital of the Chenla Kingdom and is renowned for its well-preserved temples, intricately carved sandstone structures, and lush surrounding forests. The site includes over a hundred small temples, many of which showcase early examples of Khmer architecture and artistry.
