San Ignacio Lagoon, located in the Baja California Peninsula of Mexico, is a pristine coastal lagoon renowned for its rich biodiversity and as a vital habitat for gray whales. Every year, from January to April, gray whales migrate to the lagoon to mate and give birth, offering a unique opportunity for eco-tourists and researchers to observe these majestic creatures up close.
