Santa María del Naranco, located on the slopes of Mount Naranco near Oviedo in Spain, is a pre-Romanesque church that originally served as a palace. Built in 848 AD during the reign of King Ramiro I of Asturias, it is a prime example of Asturian architectural style. The structure is notable for its elegant proportions, intricate stone carvings, and unique barrel vaults.
