Säntis is the highest mountain in the Alpstein massif of northeastern Switzerland, located in the Appenzell Alps. Standing at an elevation of 2,502 meters (8,205 feet), it offers stunning panoramic views that span six countries on clear days: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, France, and Italy. The mountain is a popular destination for hiking, climbing, and skiing, and it features a weather station and a telecommunications tower at its summit. There is also a cable car that provides easy access to the peak, making it a favorite spot for tourists and nature enthusiasts alike.
