Schloss Johannisburg in Aschaffenburg, Germany, is a prominent architectural landmark and historical site. Constructed between 1605 and 1614, the castle is a striking example of Renaissance architecture. It served as the second residence for the Prince-Bishops of Mainz. The castle is renowned for its distinctive red sandstone exterior and its four corner towers. Today, Schloss Johannisburg houses a variety of museums, including an art gallery, a collection of cork architectural models, and the State Gallery with works from the Bavarian State Painting Collections.
