The Seat of the European Central Bank (ECB) is located in Frankfurt, Germany. The ECB's headquarters is housed in a striking modern skyscraper known as the ECB Tower, which is situated in the Ostend district of Frankfurt. Completed in 2014, the building was designed by the Vienna-based architectural firm Coop Himmelb(l)au. The complex includes the repurposed Großmarkthalle, a former wholesale market hall that has been integrated into the new design, blending historical architecture with contemporary elements. The ECB Tower stands out with its unique, asymmetrical design and its two interlinked towers, symbolizing the unity and strength of the European monetary system.
